Attorney Sherer has provided outstanding representation to our county. I have been a lawyer for over 37 years, taught, and worked with other lawyers. Our State's Attorney's Office sought and continues to use Attorney Sherer on matters outside our areas of legal expertise. His is an outstanding lawyer, who is ethical and thorough. I have worked with Chris Sherer on numerous property tax assessment cases and I highly recommend him. His attention to detail and expertise is unequivocally beneficial to counties. Chris has not only represented Marion County, IL and myself at the Property Tax Appeal Board, he has also successfully argued these cases in the Circuit Court and The Appellate Court.
