From the research my sister and I did prior to our appointment with Atty Usher, we were sure that we were getting someone experienced and well respected. However, the appointment with Atty Usher went surpassed what we had anticipated. She listened, she could answer our questions. She provided clear direction and insight. She is very warm and caring but a professional who knows what she is doing. We will seek her again for any family care issues that arise in the future.

You know that God loves you when She sends you an estate planning angel like Charlene Usher. We had a fairly complicated estate: three properties, 3-4 million in gross value, and now we can move to the end of our lives knowing that our property will be distributed the way we want; and what songs will be played at our Memorial Services. I can't even remember when I first met and subsequently used Charlene's law firm to provide my companies (I was Assoc GC for 4 Fortune 50 companies) with employment outside counsel work. I am passionate about helping families, individuals and business owners protect themselves during incapacity and plan for the disposition of their assets to whom they want, when they want and how they want when their life ends through proper ESTATE PLANNING. I pride myself on explaining how to avoid Probate and why you need the documents I'm recommending while giving you seasoned advice to help YOU make the decisions that are right for you. We go the extra mile to make sure your ESTATE PLAN is EFFECTIVE for you AND your family!
I also serve families of loved ones who have passed away through Estate Administration (handling the affairs when a Trust or Will was in place) OR through the maze of the PROBATE system when things were not handled or not handled properly. We hold your hand and make sure all loose ends are tied.
I also help adult children or other relatives obtain Conservatorship of the Person and/or Estate of their elderly relatives who may need help with their financial or medical affairs.
I also help families of SPECIAL NEEDS children put the right documents in place so that their child or grandchild does not jeoparidze important government benefits and services due to receiving an inheritance. lawsuit settlement or insurance payout.
Being a mom, daughter, sister, relative of a special needs person all make me sensitive to the issues people face and compassionate when giving my advice and recommendations.
I love the beach, skiing, tennis and golf in my free time. Mostly, I love spending time witih my daughter and watching her grow and develop!
