I hired Ms. Marticorena to deal with a complex case of custody of my two kids. One of them had been wrongfully retained by his mother in a foreign country. Ms. Marticorena deal with it and added much more information that turned out to be fundamental, and had not been fully realized by some other lawyers I had consulted with before. In my experience, her priority is to get the right thing done for her client and keep her/him informed of the actions one may contribute with. I really think I was very lucky hiring her services and I'll contact her again anytime I have the need or chance to.
I was involved in a very difficult divorce with an ex who attempted many times to take sole custody of my only child from me. He filed a frivolous TRO, threatened and filed ex-partes, called the police numerous times for no reason, lied to the custody evaluator, and bullied me to take his demands. Every tactic he used to deny me of my rights as a parent, to community properties and financial support failed because Casey Marticorena was there to protect them, every step of the way. When my father died out of the country and my ex refused to allow my daughter to travel with me to say good bye to her grandfather for the last time, Casey took care of business and the court granted me the right to take my daughter to a Non-Hague country and force my ex to sign the emergency passport application hours before departure. There are too many stories of how Casey was there for me to share with you. I have endured many struggles on the path to end my divorce. If it wasn't for Casey handling my case, along with the most competent and friendly staff, I probably wouldn't have been able to move on to a happier new life, post divorce. She protected all the rights I was entitled to; as a parent to my child, share of the community properties, child and spousal support but most of all, my happiness. Casey has worked tirelessly from the beginning to the end of my divorce to help me through one of the most difficult fight in my life. My daughter and I have benefited greatly from her expertise and dedication to fight for her clients' rights. Casey, thank you so much for all the times you stood by me and never left me to fight alone. Casey Marticorena has the legal knowledge, experience and temperament to help get you through your divorce. She is highly professional and ethical. I highly recommend her for those who want a fighter on their side to protect all their rights.
