"I met Brandon at the University of Massachusetts School of Law - Dartmouth. I had the pleasure to work with him for two years in the Student Bar Association (SBA). As President of the SBA, Brandon was always a constant professional in everything he set out to accomplish. He always set out his goals and accomplished them when he said he would. Brandon works very well with others and is very committed and dedicated to everything he sets out to accomplish. He is a great student, friend, and will make an excellent attorney. I know he will excel at everything he sets out to do and would make any employer excited he works with them."
Mr. Walecka was an extremely motivated student at U Mass Dartmouth School of Law as well as an exemplary leader. It is no surprise that he passed the bar on the first try. Additionally, the school truly misses his leadership and vision. -Tania Shah
Brandon is an individual with great energy and passion. He made a significant contribution in bringing a $185,000 food concept to the Law School. He was a key member of our Dining Bid team which recommended a upgraded food service company to the University of Massachusetts. Brandon has significant leadership skills and is a team player. He would be an asset to any organization.
I am happy to endorse Brandon Walecka for a position with a law firm or as legal counsel to an organization or business. He is a goal directed young man who is able to manage significan responsibility. Despite the rigors of law school course work, Brandon took the initiative to become an active and visible student leader. He leads effectively, questions authority in an appropriate and respectful manner, and follows through with persistance. Beyond that he is a very bright and personable young man who will be an asset in any work setting.
Brandon was the President of the UMass Law School's Student Government Association, known as the ABA. His Presidency came at a time of great change - the Law School was donated to the University in 2010. As one can imagine, this brought great enthusiasm, but also great anxiety. Brandon was extremely diligent in representing his constituents as he routinely found time to meet with University Administrators and his peers to explain new systems, advocate for services, and to develop partnerships with the current University Student Government Association. Brandon is a man of great integrity, persistence, good humor and commitment to task. He deserves our collective thanks for his dedicated service and the terrific legacy he has left at UMass Law.
While I didn't have Brandon in class, I remember judging him in a Moot Court competition. He was poised, articulate, intelligent and all you could ask for in an advocate. He was also the president of our Student Bar Association at UMass School of Law, a job he handled extremely well, organizing various student activities. He is obviously popular with his classmates, deservedly so in my opinion. I recommend him highly.
I have had the opportunity to know as his professor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law-Dartmouth. Throughout our acquaintance, I have witnessed him demonstrate extraordinary diligence and perseverance in his legal education and personal responsibilities. Brandon is an extremely educated individual who possesses that rare blend of analytical and interpersonal skills. It is these qualities that will allow him to succeed in his legal career.
Brandon was a hard working, diligent student. He participated in class discussions and handed in assignments on time. He was a pleasure to have in class. Brandon is resourceful, bright, and engaging. I have had the pleasure to see him in action in his law school career as well. He is an outstanding student, and contributor to the community. I have no doubt that he will be an asset to the legal profession.
