  To Whom it May Concern: I have known Brandi Stokes since our first year of law school together, at the University of Texas School of Law. As such, I feel confident recommending her, both in a personal and professional capacity. Since I have known Brandi, she has always struck me as an extremely diligent, intelligent, hard worker. She has demonstrated a level of even-headedness and discipline in the legal profession which is nearly impossible to match. Brandi has always been an individual, who, on a personal level, generated kindness and class to all of those around her, every time I saw her, which was quite frequent over a three-year period. More importantly, however, I had the opportunity to work with Brandi, the attorney, in a legal practicum, known as the Children's Rights Clinic, in our final year of law school. She was an amazing mix of two very important qualities: the ability to take important matters seriously, and the characteristic of someone who works well under pressure and does not let it affect her personality or work. At the Clinic, we were assigned very difficult cases, and Brandi worked hard, presented an impressive presentation to the class and professors regarding the Texas Family Code an UUCJ act. She possesses a great deal of poise and competence. Moreover, with respect to her clients, from my observations, Brandi fought for them zealously and with a great deal of even-keeled, cool-headed behavior, while always being extremely kind and working extremely well with others. In the time that I have know her, it has become clear to me that she also knows, understands, and puts into effect important matters, on a professional ethics level. She has always been someone who struck me as truly understanding concepts such as client confidentiality, and her dual role, as an advocate and counselor. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She is, in my experience, a well-trained, intelligent, excellent advocate who knows how to separate her personal and professional lives, something many attorneys struggle with frequently. Brandi keeps her equanimity, but she also makes certain that her caring nature comes through. She is an exemplary person and attorney, one whom, in my view, a client would be fortunate to work with.
