I met with Ms. Vazquez at the recommendation of the lead attorney (Emily McFarling) in her office who I’ve used in the past and trust more than anybody. Ashlee fits right in with this family of attorneys. They care, they listen, they’re efficient and they’re honest. I modified custody and child support at the end of 2018 and Ashlee handled it exactly the way I wanted her to. From the initial consulataion she asked so many questions, asked how I felt and what I was comfortable with, gave multiple suggestions and timeshare options for me to think about but it was so much more than just a lawyer doing her job. This type of case is so emotional, scary and stressful. When you’re a parent it’s literally your life, your entire world on the line and the attorneys at this office know that, they take it seriously. She didn’t just give me great legal advice, she gave me encouragement and made things as easy as they could be. Answered messages right away and did meetings over the phone to avoid trips to the office. We took a settlement meeting before going into court which normally would be a stressful situation, it wasn’t. I knew she knew what I was comfortable with and what I wasn’t willing to do and when the other attorneys were throwing things at me too fast she took the time during the meeting to allow her and I time together alone to come up with something that would work for my son and I. These things can last years and the fighting can be brutal but Ashlee had it handled in a few months. From the courtroom to phone calls to emails she was so professional and caring. You can tell she’s truly passionate about helping families. I’ve been dealing with parental alienation and a co parent who breaks court orders for years. In this case he was asking for me to give up primary custody and child support and asking for himself to have it and me to see my son every other weekend. He’s done this in the past. It’s almost a repetitive, predictive bahavior which Ashlee saw right away. Aside from what I was and wasn’t comfortable with, she knew right from wrong and she wasn’t going to let that happen. This can be very lonely thing to go through so it was nice to work with somebody who understood what I’ve been going through for years and who was willing to speak on it and bring it to the judges attention. She isn’t the type of attorney to drag you through it and rack up fees. She wants to get your case closed and your family back on track as quickly as possible. Thank you Ashlee, Emily, Tricia and everybody at McFarling law.
I have went through my share of attorneys, expensive and inexpensive it was not until I started working with McFarling law group that I've been happy. Ashlee handled my last minute case better than I could have ever expected. she and the law group would be the only referral I would give anyone in need of a representation and I will continue to go to her when I need any helping the future.
