I had spoken to two other attorneys before I found Ashlee. I searched for my specific issue, employment law, and chose Ashlee based on the reviews of others. They were not wrong. Ashlee speaks to you as a person and is sincerely interested in helping you. The legal system is complicated and frustrating, but having Ashlee on my side was key to the positive outcome of my situation. She dealt very professionally with the parties involved and was always clear with me as to what was going on and what was next. She was helpful and supportive in helping me to be realistic with my expectations and how the process works. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend anyone who needs employment law advice to give Ashlee a call.
I contacted this firm for help after my boss fired me unfairly. Only the intake assistant contacted me and told me to meet with Ms Albies would cost $350 for a consultation and to fill out the BOLI questionaire on my own. I wanted advice on how to proceed with that for the best outcome, but having just been fired unfairly I did not have $350 to pay Ms. Albies. After this, I feel they are more concerned about money than helping me. I do have a legitimate discrimination case here and truly need help from an attorney, not an assistant! I can't honestly recommend someone who isn't willing to try to help me.
A righteous lawyer who shows up with precise and truthful analysis to carve space out for those who are systematically left out. It was a pleasure working with Ashlee on the New Seasons case. I would walk into the battlefield with Ashlee any day.
Ashlee is one of the most professional and resourceful attorneys I have ever worked with. One rarely gets the opportunity to speak and work with someone who is so emotionally and technically skilled in dealing with employment law. She serves those in need with courtesy and compassion at every turn, and is competent in responding to aggressive threats and prolonged silences from opposition. She is a wonderful mediator and I would recommend working with her any time you want to know what your rights as a worker and creator are.
