Angela truly represents her clients. She is thorough, careful, and smart about how she proceeds with anything. She investigates first and then recommends action after gathering all the relevant information. We started using her at the recommendation of others in our industry (cosmetics and skin care) and couldn't be happier with our choice. We've had to deal with several extortion type of California suits and threatened actions, and we now feel that we have a true advocate on our side. Angela Diesch is managing partner of the law firm Diesch Forrest, APC. Ms. Diesch's legal practice has been primarily dedicated to representing and defending the natural and organic cosmetics industry. To ensure legal compliance and the identification and mitigation of legal risks, Ms. Diesch provides clients industry focused legal advice and counsel, class action litigation defense, and contract, label, and marketing review. She has defended numerous companies in actions involving challenges over the marketing terms “organic,” “natural,” and “Made in USA,” as well as drug and efficacy claims, brought under California’s Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law, and Consumer Legal Remedies Act. Ms. Diesch is Chair of the Global Retailers & Manufacturers Alliance's Joint Committee on Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics, advisory board member to the newly formed NOHBA, regularly speaks and publishes articles pertaining to the legal and regulatory issues facing the cosmetics industry, hosts and organizes the legal seminar, “Looking Good in the Eyes of the Law: Cosmetics Compliance,” and authors the blog at www.CosmeticsAndTheLaw.com.
