Mr McDonald handled our estate planning. He guided my wife and I through the process and answered all our questions, allowing us to competently and confidently decide how our assets should be treated, based on our needs. While estate planning is very complex, his process for developing our plan couldn't have been easier. He even secured an out-of-state attorney to deal with assets in that state. As we finalized this, he provided an itemized list for us to follow to make sure all assets were.
I met Mr. McDonald at an Alzheimer's work shop. I took his information and later made an appointment at his office. Mr. McDonald was very professional and attentive to my needs in developing a personal trust. It's a lot of information to comprehend for an elderly person who is not familiar with legal jargon. I asked several questions some over & over but he took time and explained over & over. One thing you as an individual must do after receiving your final plan which is organized and presented in binders is be prepared to spend time and additional money in developing and putting the plan into play; also, be prepared to do a lot of legal reading because it is not on the best seller list. I am now more knowledgeable of revocable & irrevocable trust. All and all things seem better for my family after I am deceased.
