Amy is a detail-orientated worker who is also dependable and , professional. She needs little direction and is capable of working on her own. Her high expectations for herself make her work outcome exceptional.
Every year drugstore.com would bring in promising interns to "learn our business". Essentially, we would look for inexpensive work to assist us with a great deal of corporate contract/transactional law activities. Me and my group interacts with virtually all of them. Amy was/is one of my favorites. Amy had a great disposition, always lent a smile, and best of all worked really hard to learn as much about the eCommerce business. I trusted Amy's ability and judgement. On several occasions where I knew I needed a legal resource I requested Amy for that resource and always found her work to be detailed, professional, and appropriate for the situation. I would gladly work with her again.
Amy Blue, J.D., graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2013. After two years as a city attorney for the cities of Sammamish, North Bend, and Sultan, Amy opened her own practice in Maple Valley, Good Faith Legal, P.S. Amy’s practice focuses on land use law, ranging from private easements and agreements to full-scale development projects. She is passionate about American history and the preservation of buildings, sites, and stories that tie us to our past. Prior to her career as an attorney, Amy spent several years as an editor for Artifacts Consulting, Inc., an historic preservation firm in Tacoma. Amy has worked on landmark nomination projects for Washington State Parks, the capitol building in Olympia, and Western State Hospital in Sedro Woolley. In addition to her law practice, Amy serves on the Board of Directors for SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve and provides pro bono assistance to the Maple Valley Historical Society. I founded Good Faith Legal, P.S. as a progression from my career as a city attorney. After working closely with cities both big and small, I recognized a need for land use and municipal experience in the private sector—not just for builders and developers, but also for homeowners, neighbors, and city residents. With additional previous experience in estate planning and corporate law, and a strong aversion to litigation, I created Good Faith Legal to serve the legal needs of local builders and middle-class families: land use and city permitting, home occupation and small business, contracts, and estate planning.
