It is actually fun to recommend Alicia. Her reputation as detailed oriented, fair and full of energy is only half her skills. I find Alicia to be passionate and caring. her IQ is clearly superior, but her emotional intelligence and ability to use them in an empathetic manner that is also to achieve noble goals is impressive. Her ability to see an issue and create a solution using a collaborative team is superior to most people I know. Being paid for work and excelling is an accomplishment. Volunteering to work with at risk youth and taking the work as seriously is remarkable. I admire a dedicated volunteer as much as a credible professional. Thank you Alicia.
Alicia has broad experience advising large and small corporations on a variety of transactional legal matters. Her expertise and judgment are universally praised, and clients love her.
While I've known Alicia I've been impressed with the passion and energy she brings to everything she does. She is capable of managing multiple projects at the same time. The other thing that impresses me is that Alicia will always jump into a situation to help and often ends up leading the effort to find the solution. She has a very strong problem solving capability. She is a pleasure to know and to work with.
Two words that stand out when I think of Alicia are: MENTOR and PARTNER. As legal counsel for our early-stage venture capital firm, AlphaDev, Alicia was able to help us anticipate and navigate issues that could have easily derailed a start-up firm. She would easily alternate roles as mentor and business partner, to match when we had limited internal capabilities or needed to present a full and experienced leadership team to potential investors. I am honored to refer to Alicia today as a trusted friend and will not hesitate to recommend her to companies that can appreciate the true value of having an experienced, flexible and cost-effective corporate attorney as part of their leadership team.
Alicia was knowledgeable, practical and responsive. I highly recommend Alicia for transactional legal work, especially if tax issues are involved.
Alicia is as prepared and capable as any transactional attorney I have ever worked with. But I have not had the opportunity to work with her nearly as much as I would like because she is so good at what she does and, as a result, litigation against her clients is thwarted or short-lived. I would not hesitate to recommend any of my clients to her. I know they will be taken care of!
Alicia is an outstanding lawyer. She has deep knowledge of her field and always responds with promptness and professionalism. Alicia has been the only lawyer that my company has retained since its inception in 2008 to the present day. She has consistently demonstrated a sincere interest in seeing our startup company succeed and has routinely gone above and beyond the call of duty. Not only has she provided us with sound legal advice, but has often provided mentoring and business advice too. We've been able to avoid many of the the pitfalls that startup companies frequently encounter thanks in large part to Alicia's excellent guidance. She deserves a great deal of credit for the success my company has enjoyed.
Alicia is a hardworker with the utmost integrity and smarts to make things happen.
I wholeheartedly recommend Alicia's work. I have used her since 2007 for a number of legal and professional services. We have shared networks and every one of my dealings with her have been professional and culminated in great results. If you need outside general counsel help, call Alicia.
What I like about referring a client to Alicia is I know she will focus on the need, look at the big picture and work to fit within the client's resources. Whether you need a little help or a lot of help in transactional work, she is a reliable referral.

Alicia is especially tallented and works well with start-ups bringing a range of expertise and creativity that you usually don't find. I strongly recommend her in the role of the virtual Ceneral Counsel. Leo Womack, Past Chairman and President of Houston Angel Network.
Alicia is an excellent attorney that I have used in the past as a de facto in-house counsel attorney. She is well versed in complex matters involving the sale of businesses, valuations, etc
Alicia is a focused and dilligent legal advisor who keeps both the big picture and the immediate issues in mind. I have watched her bring numerous, disparate thoughts into order, and watched her carefully explain the subtle nuances of the law to a non-legal audience. I would definitely hire her again.
Alicia is accessible, detail-oriented, concise and speedy. She takes the time to understand the context of the business program, prepares a range of options for review, and makes recommendation based on an outline of pros and cons for options. Her firm is professional, easy to work with and we will continue our relationship with her for the long-term.
Alicia is brilliant, trustworthy and highly competent. She has a unique way of taking complicated legal concepts and explaining them in a way that her clients can understand. She also has the integrity to refer clients to someone in her vast network if she feels you will be better served, an admirable and selfless trait.
Alicia is a tremendous asset to our organization. As a small but growing company, access to top legal advice can be critical to our success. Alicia not only provides the requisite expertise, but also exhibits the creativity and understanding required to get the tasks done despite challenging budgets and an ever changing set of factors and requirements. We count ourselves lucky to have access to someone with her skill set.
Alicia is absolutely a top-notch corporate attorney and an invaluable member of our team. She takes the time to guide us and mentor us as we build Circle 7 Software. She is as much a coach as she is anything else. She's wonderfully pleasant and patient with us and is extremely knowledgeable about the law and how it effects corporate business. She does her job with the ease of a natural. I couldn't ask for a better team member. I recommend Alicia without a single reservation to anyone looking for legal and business advise in the world of start ups.
