  I met Adam at Baruch College through my involvement in on-campus leadership activities. He was a professor teaching law in Baruch's Department of Law while I was a college student. Upon meeting him, I was immediately impressed by his clear speaking style, upbeat demeanor, and dedication to developing the professional skills of others. I asked him to lead career development workshops for my organization which were always current and full of useful advice. Students spoke to me afterwards and told me that was the best professional workshop they have ever attended and they feel more confident going into networking events. I personally benefitted greatly from his tutelage, with our relationship transitioning into Adam mentoring me throughout my law school career. I learned how to present myself to professionals, to sell my talents, and, most importantly, how to network. Through Adam, I learned that networking is not about what you personally can get out of it, but more about how you can help others succeed in their own goals. His mentorship has helped me succeed in my own career and it is a result of our relationship that I have been honored by my school and bar associations. I owe a lot to Adam's desire to help everyone succeed professionally in their lives. Whoever Adam mentors or helps next is a lucky person, they do not yet know how far his advice will go!

  Professor Grundfast is a pleasure to communicate with and learn from, and his passion to help students develop their careers is inspiring. As Chair of Corporate Communications at Sigma Alpha Delta Honor Society, I invited Professor Grundfast to be a keynote guest speaker for our Society's Personal Branding Workshop, with 30 students in attendance. He delivered a powerful, informative, and engaging presentation that was tailored to our members and their questions, and then generously shared with us PowerPoint slides that he crafted.
