I highly recommend Adam for legal counsel. While dealing with Adam I found a personable and hardworking individual. He is very intelligent and will work diligently to obtain results.
Adam's dedication and contribution to the Medical Malpractice capstone course at UDSL helped create the most beneficial class I took in law school. As a practicing attorney in the community, Adam was able to bring his own real life experiences in to the classroom. The students worked a medical malpractice case from start to finish over the course of the semester. Most exercises were written or videotaped, and Adam was able to give valuable, honest feedback each step of the way. His insight, suggestions, and advice created a learning environment that allowed me to fully understand the practical nature of the course. I use the tools Adam provided in this course everyday. The quality of work Adam produces as an adjunct professor would be hard to top.
Adam's preparation for our case was top notch. He was a quick study in complex and technical issues and efficiently navigated our case through the issues while avoiding distractions. Adam understands how to keep things moving toward an efficient conclusion. I highly recommend Adam and would certainly ask him to represent us if the need ever arose.
I focus my practice in the areas of small business and entrepreneurial issues, business advising, alcohol beverage law, municipal law, professional malpractice defense, business/commercial litigation, employment law, and profit recovery.A craft beer enthusiast, I co-chair the Firm’s Alcohol Beverage Law Practice Group. I currently represent start-up and established breweries and distilleries, as well as liquor permit holders, where I advise clients on matters including business formation, regulations and permitting by the Federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and the Ohio Department of Liquor Control, trademarks, employment practices, workplace safety, liquor permit acquisition and transfer, and litigation avoidance. If circumstances arise necessitating litigation, I have extensive litigation experience in the State and Federal Courts of Ohio.Additionally, I represent and counsel individuals and businesses (small and large) on employment issues (non-compete/confidentiality agreements, trade secrets, and discrimination claims), consumer and business contractual disputes, real estate disputes (eminent domain, restrictive covenants and easements), close corporation/shareholder disputes (fiduciary duties and shareholder/corporate rights) and quasi-contractual disputes. I also have experience representing municipal corporations in contractual matters, appropriations, employment and discrimination claims, as well as Section 1983 claims.A portion of my experience in professional negligence cases involves the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and other medical professionals. I also counsel and advise health care professionals and entities on compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations and profit recovery. The remaining portion of my experience in professional negligence cases involves the defense of attorneys and law firms.
