Abigail Rogers

About

Abigail Rogers is an associate attorney with Stack & Kottke, PLLC where she specializes in criminal defense.  Abigail is passionate about defending the constitution, holding the government accountable, and serving others.  While in law school, she catered her training and education towards criminal defense.  As a result, she excels in legal research, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy.  Abigail was born in Bend, Oregon and raised near Portland, Oregon.  She attended Central Catholic High School where she was a varsity soccer and track athlete.  In 2007, she was selected as a member of the Oregon 6A 1st Team All-State Soccer Team.  She also played elite club soccer for F.C. Portland where she won three Oregon State Championships in 2005, 2006, and 2008.  Abigail's success on the soccer field eventually brought her to Montana, where she played collegiate soccer for four years.  In August of 2014, Abigail began law school at the University of Montana School of Law.  While in law school, she volunteered as a hearing officer for the Missoula Housing Authority where she held hearings and issued binding opinions regarding termination or denial of housing vouchers.  At the beginning of her second year, she was selected as an attorney on the National Trial Team, where she refined her evidence and courtroom advocacy skills by competing in over twenty mock trials and two regional competitions.  The same year, Abigail accepted an internship with Stack and Kottke, PLLC where she gained valuable experience writing briefs, visiting clients in jail, and participating in hearings.  In 2017, she graduated from the University of Montana School of Law and subsequently passed the July 2017 bar exam.  She then accepted an associate attorney position with Stack & Kottke, PLLC.  Outside of work, Abigail enjoys spending time with her husband, Martin, and their two dogs.  She loves spending time outside playing soccer, hiking, skiing, backpacking, fly-fishing, and cheering for the Griz football team.
